Our story:
The first owner (Mr. Sadek Gallini) discovered the land by chance in 1992 following the guidance of a local naturalist, a real ”Man of the sea” who assisted and showed him the untouched rare beauty of the area.
Shortly after this incredible finding and being enchanted by the magical sight Mr. Gallini seized the opportunity and purchased the land from the local town hall. He decided to build a resort what was officially finished in 1997. 
Mangrove Bay Resort is still one of the few privately owned and operated hotels on the shore line of the Red sea. 
The idea was to create a special, one of a kind but yet affordable hotel with personal touch, keeping nature in focus. 
The venture has recently been passed on for the next generation's leadership providing an exciting opportunity to develop the resort up to the next level. 
It is a new beginning with a chance to move forward with fresh ideas, creativity and energy. 
The goal is to preserve and protect the natural beaches with mangroves and the admirable coral reefs, while providing a relaxed, cosy and comfortable stay for the guests.
